Sweetbay Magnolia, 2-0, 12-18"
One of the few species of magnolia that is cold-tolerant, it produces showy white flowers in the late spring, which helps to avoid much of the frost that can spoil blooming periods. Moderately fast growth rate that reachs 10-15' at maturity. Prefers full sun but will tolerate partial shade, excellent choice for birds and other wildlife.
