HABITAT & WILDLIFE ASSISTANCE

The District staffs a full-time wildlife/farm bill biologies to assist landowners in managing their property. The Farm Bill Biologist has an office at the Tuscola Conservation District, but will cover all of Huron and Tuscola. The biologist is available to provide the following assistance at no charge.

- Conduct site visits and provide technical advice on wildlife habitat.

- Assist with sign-up with USDA programs such as CRP.

Help attain funding with wildlife habitat restoration.

- Develop wildlife and/or pollinator plans​
